The College of Rehabilitation Sciences, together with the entire student body, welcomed this year’s freshies in Roarientation 2015, held at Q. Pavilion last August 4.
The new members of
the SLP family were able to get acquainted with the students from other
colleges and faculties. That same day, they had their Departmental Orientation
at the Medicine Auditorium in which they were introduced to the policies of the
college.
The next event which
all freshmen looked forward to was the Thomasian Welcome Walk 2015. The freshies
entered the Arch of the Centuries, signaling their entry as legitimate Thomasians.
Each college had their own theme decided by their Student Council. After the
Welcome Walk, the freshmen attended the afternoon massheld at the UST Field. A
small program followed, with artists, including Isabelle De Leon and the band, Sandwich,
presenting for the crowd.

The last part of the
event headed by the higher batches was the orientation for the students’
respective courses. The SLP freshmen were able to find out more about their
chosen program, and meet the other students of their course. Asst. Prof. Ma.
Georgina D. Mojica, SLP Department Head, also had a talk to welcome the freshmen
to the college.
